I foolishly sold my long reel set years ago to a guy in Alaska (via ebay). Sure wish I had it back now, it's not often you even see a complete set like that :-( Anyone have one they want to sell me?

Haven't seen one of those, but I did see one of the Ilford 72 exp. reels not long ago at B&H in the used department.

Another alternative would be a Lomo movie tank. There's a guy in Ukraine with a website about the different models, and he sells them, or occasionally you can find them on eBay.

I have a nokor or some mfg that holds 7 or 9 35mm with the lid and cap. Plastic lid and cap as I remember.

I am looking for a tank with a single reel that holds a long piece of film (about 10 meters), not multiple reels to hold a bunch of total length of film in separate chunks. I've already got a mess of multi-reel tanks.

Thanks,
Duncan

Hello Duncan,

You could try a Lomo tank. Mine hold 50 feet of 35mm film. They are easy to load once you get the knack. They used to be about $75.00, but are getting a bit dear now.

Cheers,
Clarence

Well, I tracked down and purchased a good used example of the long Jobo tank, and will just use it for inversion processing since I don't have (and don't want to invest in) the processor. But I'd still like to have one of these Nikor rigs again someday, if anyone ever runs across one...

Ha - took a while, but finally scored another set on ebay! And this one even comes with the loader rig, which I didn't even know existed. All good things come to those who wait... and stalk ebay relentlessly...
