My Nikon SII came with a 28/3.5 lens. The focusing wheel is a bit stiff when distance scale shows 7 ft. So I have to focus by turning the lens. No issue when focusing via the lens, from 3 ft to infinity. Felt pretty normal.
Also, no issue when turning the focusing wheel from 3 ft to infinity without the lens attached. I thought there's an issue with the body.

Then I borrowed a Voigt 25/4, and surprisingly no issue on the focusing wheel. From 0.9m to infinity back and forth it felt smooth.
So I guess the issue is on my 28/3.5 lens... what's it exactly?
