If I had a roll of Super-XX I certainly would use it!

Fomapan 400 I can do. I have a few rolls to test and might even do it with the Nikon RF.
Let's see what it will bring me.

Get a canon p body and use the Leica lens on it.
They sold 100k off.
You can get a cosina lens for it when you recover from shock.

Thanks for posting that link it helped me identify a camera I acquired in a box of cameras for restoration a Merkel Phonix, Tropical model.

I really like the look of the Nikon here I think in that condition you did the right thing (OP).

What lenses to get me?

I've loaded my first film and I love using this camera. So I think I'll get me one or two extra lenses. Maybe something like 28 or 35 mm and a 85 mm.
It’s my understanding that there are also Russion good lenses and Contax lenses that should fit my Nikon S2. So, any advice on what to look for?
I like landscape and street photography and using B&W film.

The W-Nikkor-C 3.5cm f2.5 was mentioned to me as being very good.

My advice. Forget other lenses for now. Use the camera with that lens only for 3-4 months and really get to know the camera. Next spring revisit the other lens subject.

Hmmm, that might be the best advice yet, but controling my GAS? But it is better to go out shooting than shopping ...

The contax kíev and cosina lenses should mount but

only cosina used the same rangefinger coupling the others wides should be ok

Kiev J12 (35mm) dont focus on all Kievs let alone Nikons some will scratch faceplates
