These are the prototypes that were found as the old Ohi plant was being emptied for demolition.

many, if not most of these were not shown to the general public until last weekend. Hope you guys enjoyed my report. there are many stories told that afternoon such as the lost prototype that was left behind in a taxi and how the development of the F mount came to be and the interesting things that could have been if they implemented those. we could have a VERY different experience of the Nikon F system. I shall add them in the future in another article since I cannot shoe-horn them to my commentaries as picture taking was forbidden (during the talk). Ric.
