I took some fairly high contrast images with my D700 and an older Nikkor 28-85. There was some nasty chromatic aberration producing some cyan fringing. Yuk. Anyway my usual post processing is to use Bridge then into CS5. There was no way I could get rid of the fringing in either CS5 or LR 3. Happened to have an old copy of Nikon NX 2.0 on my pooter so fired that up. Presto change-o no more cyan fringe. I guess NX still has a few tricks up it's sleeve after all.

The whole exercise also reinforced my loathing of zoom lenses as a whole.

Just thought I would pass this little bit of news along to you folks that might have an old copy of NX kicking around on the hard drive.
