For Sale Nikon N65 / F65 Broken Latch Repair Kit

I have finished developing a repair for the N65/F65 that so commonly has a broken plastic latch. The test camera I purchased had a intact latch but it was cracked halfway through. It eventually gave up the ghost between the time I took dimensions and the time the parts came back from my machinist.

Since the area is so very small, I had to end up going with a screw to secure the metal latch to the back. It does make installation a little more fiddly but I did the repair in 10 minutes; and that is with taking photos along the way. The latch is made of 304SS that has been bead blasted to get a nice satin finish. I also will include a stainless #0 Philips screw. The latch does get glued but that is more for positioning than permanent application.

I don't have any N65, but I do have a N55 and N75 in front of me. They look the same as what you are showing. Do you know if this will also work on N75 and N55? I don't have any cameras with broken backs but I bought your others as spares.

I am almost certain but I cannot say 100%.

If anyone has a broken one I can send a kit out to see if it fits. Or, if anyone has access to a caliper or rule I can have them check dimensions.
