I have received a batch of stainless steel latches from my machinist. They are made of 300 series stainless and are bead blasted to a nice satin finish. This should be a nice upgrade to the plastic one on the market for those that want a more sturdy option. I think its pretty close to the old Nikon made replacement latch.
