Nikon Lens Repair?

Can anyone recommend a good place that does nikon lens repair? In particular I have some older manual focus Nikkors that are no longer stopping down properly.

I've been very satisfied with Pete Smith at Fotocamera Repair in Lake Worth, Florida (561-433-8434). He has worked on my Nikon F and F2, and re-greased the helicals on several manual focus lenses.

You might try Paul Ebel. He tends to specialize in leaf shutter lenses, but he has worked on SLR lenses of mine in the past. In fact, he's in Menomenie.

Peter, on my Nikkormat CLA at Essex they forgot to replace the light seals believe it or not. Double shipping was not my idea of cheap. I think some of these shops repair more electronic stuff then manual stuff.

I'd recommend the Nikon Auhtorized repair facility in Morton Grove, IL.

They've kept my Nikon gear in good order for some time.
