Nikon Lens Question AIS, AI or Non AI

I have three Nikkor lenses and am curious of how to tell if they are AIS, AI or Non AI. And what do these labels mean.
The lenses are;
Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2 S/N 340402
Nikkor 35mm 1:2 S/N 467312
Nikkor 24mm 1:1.4 S/N 218270

I assume the serial number is traceable to which label it falls under.
