The FM2 was once of the most advanced all-mechanical SLR's made with shutter speeds to 1/4000 'th.

I believe what you have is an FM2n which is the last of the FM series and a very nice MF Nikon SLR.

I checked - yes this is indeed an FM2n, a later improved version of the FM2 - thanks for pointing that out Robert
