Thank you. Just want to make sure the the FM has the same lens mount as the present SLR's of Nikon.
Thank you.

Yep same mount.

With the obvious caveats that autofocus lenses will have to be focused manually and that the G series will not have aperture control.

To be more precise, the FM and FE bodies can mount older non Ai lenses also by pushing down the pin, which I think is beneficial.

Today's lenses without the aperture ring won't be adjustable and the DX lenses won't cover the whole frame with an image.

Try putting a DX 18-55 on a full frame SLR. It shoots everything at f32, but at 18mm is super wide.

*Some* of the DX lenses will cover full-frame even though they aren't designed to do so (the 18-55mm is one, I had one once and it would cover a 35mm frame from 24mm to 55mm). However, I'm not aware of any DX lenses that aren't also G-series, therefore they will not allow aperture adjustment on cameras like the FM. A better modern super-wide lens for the FM would be the AF-Nikkor 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5D, which is a full-frame lens with an aperture ring.

Very wide angle
