Up for sale is a Nikon FE2 in good condition. Everything works well with one exception (keep reading). Some dings and brassing, but nothing out of the ordinary for a camera of it's age. Shutter has a little wrinkle in it when closed, but I've never seen any light leakage or bad exposures. For some reason, the shutter will hang open for about a second or two at totally random moments -- but only when it's set at 1/125 or 1/60. I used it in aperture priority mode 90% of the time, and never once have had an issue like this. I've shot lots of slide film with this rig and the meter is spot on. Selling because I got a black one, which I happen to like a little more.
MF-16 databack appears to work (LEDs come on when you put batteries in it and press buttons), but honestly, I've never bothered to turn it on. I got this back with my black FE2, and I switched it out soon after buying it. No guarantees on it's data functions. It doesn't have light leak issues, so it is a working back regardless. You will want to find a manual (google it) if you want to decipher the right buttons to push for data imprinting.
