Hi
I gave a Nikon F80D to my son some months ago. I don't know why I have ''FEE'' blinking sometimes. The batteries are new. The lens is properly installed. What I did? I removed the lens and I pressed the release button, the mirror did what it supposed to do and the curtains too. After, no blinking at all and ready to shoot. I don't understand and I didn't see anything about that in the manual. Need help.
Regards

for D lenses, you need to set the aperture to the smallest one, like f22 as the camera controls the the aperture, not the lens. if its not set to the smallest setting, you get the FEE error. check out the manual as it explains it

Yes, it was set to it's smallest aperture.

If was already set to the smallest aperture, then the contacts under the ring that follows the lens's f/stop ring are probably dirty. I don't know what the prospects may be for cleaning it, but there may be some info available on the web.

I'll see this evening. Thank you
