A friend of mine gifted his Nikon F301 which is in almost perfect condition(even the light seals are in good position). Together he gave me 2 lenses a Tamron SP 28-80mm 1:3.5-4.2 and a Sigma zoom-βII 1:4-5.6 f=60-200mm multicoated. What can you tell me about these lenses; I found some information about the tamron but not for the Sigma.

Funny but I did. Just Google Sigma 60-200. They were made in lots of mounts--still baloney regardless of how it was sliced.

I used to have the Sigma 60-200 with Canon FD mount for quite a long time. It was affordable and very small for a tele-zoom lens, that's why I bought it when I was a student. It was introduced towards the end of the 80s.
As of now I'd call it a pretty mediocre lens with some flaws at 200mm and wide open, but stopped down it was quite decent.
