Nikon F2 self timer issue, seems to be working earlier , but now shutter releases imeadiately, can the shutter be half cocked somehow, not sure why it worked before, and what is correct position Sutter release T or middle position?
 
Shutter should not be in T or B position.

Just for people who may be curious, in addition to using the self-timer to delay the release of the shutter, it's also possible to make very long exposures using the T setting:

Which is...the coolest thing in the world!!!!

I recently bought a second F2..
Every time I pick one up, I feel like "everything will be OK"
...even if all the other 35mm cameras depart from the camera cupboard...

I've got film,
I've got an F2,
I've got a 28mm f/2.8 AIS Nikkor....
every thing will be OK.
