Just recently bought a Nikon F2a from ebay, arrived yesterday and the slower shutter speed seems to be way too fast.
1 sec works like it's in 1/500.
Anybody knows if this is a known issue in most F2s?
Thanks.
More than likely, your slow speed gear train is sticky and needs to be cleaned.

I did it. While it is rather scary to try, it wasn't that bad in the end.
However, if you have no mechanical skills, you should send it in for a CLA and bear the cost.
