Nikon F2 era Prisms Serial Numbers & years of production . Any such list or data?

Hello,

Anyone have a source or actually have a list of the serial number runs and corresponding years of production for the earlier F2 series metered prisms, such as the DP-1, DP-2, or DP-3.

I’ve checked the usual sources, Sover Wong and his site, MIR site, and Richard de Stoutz and his site.

While they do list serial numbs for the bodies, (Sover does have a way of dating the DP-2, and a partial way of dating the DP-1) there is no complete list (at least I couldn’t find it) for those prisms.


So anyone have a source or a list?

Go to RFF and post your question in the "Nikon Historical Society" forum. It's hosted by Bob Rotoloni who's authored several Nikon books. Maybe he, or someone else, can help with your question.
