After using a few other cameras, I am coming back to using my F2 again. Is my memory just failing me, or should it be so heavy to change the shutter speeds on a DP-1 that I have to use two fingers? I took the finder on and off just in case, but no better.

My other cameras, the F3 and the Spotmatic easily goes back and forward between speeds with a flick of one finger.

My F2 feels the same. Probably thicker internal parts. I had an old F3 with a shutter speed dial that got so loose in time, the dial would rotate but the speeds would not engage.

Lack of use? Age? What about a servicing?
I took the option of a regular eye level non-metering finder for my F2, cuts the bulk and weight and avoid certain issues related with +30 years pieces.

Cheers

Well, the camera was serviced by Sover Wong this year (camera and finder), so possibly it could be just lack of use. A good reason to put some film in it and get outside...
