Hey guys, I only just recently picked this kit up, but I ultimately decided that I don't want to expand my Nikon kit (I'm just really quite content with my F and 50mm f/2).

The F2 is in great usable shape, overall cosmetics are pretty solid but there is a dent on the top left and right sides. These dents are purely cosmetic and in no way impair the functionality of the camera. It has the all too rare DE-1 prism with a couple small dings but a wonderfully clear view through the prism. A K screen is installed, and will also include an A screen as a backup. I'm asking $300 obo for it.

I also have an 85mm f/1.8 H that has been Ai'd that is in really nice overall condition, the glass is clean as are the aperture blades and the focus is smooth and accurate. There is some superficial paint wear on some of the edges, but overall it's a great user. Asking $200 obo.

Please ask any questions you may have and if you would like both together we can work something out.

Abram,

Hmmm, that F2 body is from the same month and year I was born. Anyway, hope it sells quickly. It should.

I'd almost keep the 85, though. Maybe put the proper prong on it, so it looks more normal on the F.

Oh, found some lens mount screws. Will send those to you this week.

I know, they're both great and very usable pieces of kit, but for me right now I just want to stay as minimal as possible with my equipment. I'm happy with just the F and 50mm f/2 H, and I want to work with just that for a while.

I'm open to offers, if you're interested, let me know.

I am interested. The lens is wonderful, but I am interested mainly in the camera. I am assuming all speeds are accurate. Do you want to be paid through Paypal? Are there shipping charges? I've never bought anything through apug, do you have feedback history? (My ebay id is azul6).

Many thanks,
Darya

I can vouch for Abram. He's sold me stuff and I've sold him stuff. A stand-up, honest guy. And I live near you Darya so you can trust me!

85mm has been sold to Scott (belaire)!

Who wants to give the F2 a good home? (Or am I being crazy and I should just keep it)

I would give it a good home. PM me for your best offer, Regards

Bump for the weekend, but I'm starting to have doubts about selling the F2. The longer it sits on my shelf the more I feel compelled to just use the darn thing.
So if you're interested get in touch with me, otherwise I'm just going to load it up with Tri-X and start shooting.

that's the idea. do it

Yeah, a week ago I read this article about Tri-X and it's history in our history so loaded an F with some and started shooting it again. I think the F will be my Tri-X camera.
