If I bought it, then I would need to go buy AF lenses, plus, no doubt, a bunch of other gimcracks to go with it.
Oh the GAS the GAS!
.
Plus, my F3 would feel justifiably scorned and probably stop working. Then where would I be?
I can hear it now...
...There's nothing that little piece of **** can do that I can't! Who the ** needs spot metering on a 35 anyway, are you nuts!?
...And if you think you're going to put any of those new-fangled things on me, you've got another think coming!
...
I am hoping that a 50/1.8 AF lens is the only auto focus lens I will need for the task of photographing 3 year olds...
Or having "mature" eyesite requiring glasses, but not having glasses...Autofocus can really be a total help sometimes...(But I wish that my F4s would focus as quickly as the F100...).Hard to fault the metering and auto focus capabilities of my F100 coupled with my 24-120 VR lens. Having "mature" eyesite requiring glasses, auto focus is an option that should not be under rated!
I just agreed to purchase a F100 today for $235. But it is LN and comes with manuals, papers etc.
It is a little sad that they are going for so little but 35mm is rapidly being overshadowed by digital.
Damn it! I wish I saw that! Great deal. I really want an F100.
