Hello!
I wonder if anyone can recommend a technician who can service a Nikon F100. Mine could use a good cleaning and also has intermittent battery-related fussiness. I do wonder if a CLA would cost more than a "new" F100, but it can't hurt to ask!
Sincere thanks for your help.

What does intermittent battery fussiness mean? Perhaps you should clean the terminals and/or move/bend them up slightly to make sure contact is maintained.

I use this to remove hard oxidation:

Thanks very much for the recommendation! Occasionally I will be unable to use the AF point selector. Removing the batteries and reinserting them usually fixes the problem. Also, on a few occasions I received an "End" error message when I was only at shot 15 or 30. Pushing the shutter button a few times resolved the problem, but the rolls had overlapping frames. (FWIW this problem only occurred 3 times out of 1000+ rolls and only with Cinestill 800.)
Quite honestly I can't say for sure if the problems are battery-related, although certainly cleaning the contacts can't hurt...

If it's electrical it might be better to get a replacement and sell the one you have. Even after a CLA, anything electronic is probably not going to be warrantied. It's probably cheaper to replace it too.

Ahh, bummer. No, that isn't a battery issue.
