Hi there,

I have recently acquired a Zorki 2C camera with a 50/3.5 lens on it.

While this is quite lens and works for most of my photography, I am looking for more options for lenses.

Since I have had a few Nikon F lenses for my other cameras, I am wondering whether it would be possible to take pictures with Nikon F lenses on Zorki cameras with an adapter.

While I have found an adapter like this on Amazon, I am not sure whether this kind of adapter would compromise the focus of the lens and camera.

Could somebody provide some insights please?

Thank you very much!

You have to focus by setting the distance on the lens focusing ring. There is no coupled rangefinder possible.

It's certainly possible, but I'm surprised there is enough demand to be sufficient for a commercial adapter.
There are multiple M39 mounts with different registraion distances but LTM is the most common (the adapter you found is clearly not for the Zenit M39 SLR)

Most adapters like this are a little off in their flange distances, so scale focusing may be a little variable. If the adapter is 17.7mm long then it should be OK but slightly smaller apertures might still be needed to ensure focus. Wide angles may be usable but Telephotos would probably still be very hit or miss.
