This camera functions fine and is in very nice shape. There's a few minor abrasions, and paint has been touched up on the back. You have to look pretty hard to see it. Speeds are accurate and it works with the ease and reliability expected of this camera. The lens is in fine shape too. It's probably the most solidly built 35mm camera ever manufactured (I know you guys know all this.).
I bought it from Japan from a guy who was very meticulous with it. When I first got it, it leaked slightly on the first few frames. I had it cleaned, and new seals put in it - even so I always load 35mm and rollfilm cameras in subdued light.
Why am I selling it? Because I very rarely use 35mm cameras and when I do I use an old Asahi Pentax SL. I don't need the system capabilities of this Nikon, or the quick change lenses; and plus I just have too much of this stuff around. I need to sell some of it, and better if someone is using it, yeah?
