Nikon DP-11 View Finder Disassembly

Hello,
I have a Nikon F2 with the DP 11 finder. The meter window on top of the finder has some white substance on the inside of the window. Looks like some sort of cleaner seeped in.
Does anyone know that, if I remove the leather on top of the finder, if I can remove the screws there and take the top off, or does the whole finder have to be disassembled to get to the inside of that meter window?
