By any chance: Does anybody know whether or not the Nikon Dk-17M Magnifying Eyepiece fits to the Nikon FM3A?

Here’s a somewhat cryptic part number list of eyepieces for Nikon cameras:

From this Nikon document, it doesn’t appear that Nikon made a magnifying eyepiece for the FM series.

I don't have either item, but pretty sure that the FM3A uses the older 19mm round eyepiece, and the DK-17M is made for the newer 22mm round eyepiece thread.

No, it's too big.

However it does fit the F4/5/6 in case you are thinking of trading in the FM3a for one of those film cameras..
