Nikon body and lens repair.

I sent KEH a Nikon FE2 and Nikon 50mm 2.0 af-d lens and they offered me $20. FE2 has a problem with the advance lever. And the lens has an issue with the aperture blades, but they didn't specify what with the lens. "Aperture blades aren't working and will need repaired…" Getting them repaired in more expensive than buying ex+ condition at KEH prices, so I guess they are decorations!

Any suggestions what to do with these 2 guys? Anyone want to fix them!??

When I had the same problem with with my FE, all it needed were two new batteries.Does itfire the shutter when you push rhe emergency release at the bottom of the camera in M90 mode?
