Defocus Lens for managing foreground and background blur.
The last picture shows the only cosmetic defect I can identify on the lens. Glass is in great shape. AF operates as it should without any sounds or issues. Aperture is dry and snappy. Filter threads are perfect. (I blew the dust off the lenses with my rocket blower, but I'm out of lens pads, so I didn't want to touch the glass with something else. The front and rear elements could be cleaner...)
