I've decided not to sell this lens.
Nikon AF Nikkor ED 300mm f/2.8 Lens
Cosmetically, it is very clean. There are a few small blemishes on the integrated hood which can be seen in the photos.
The aperture is crisp, clean and responds instantly to the slightest movement of the aperture ring.
There is some dust. There is no fungus or haze that I can find, but the dust is there. I've done my best to capture a picture of it.
The woodpecker is at shot at 1/680 f/2.8 ISO-400. The lens renders color nicely.
