colour management is a huge topic and arguably one of if not the hardest to grapple with.

Shortly I am going to start asking for feedback on how the site should be organized. I will be stunned if a colour management section is not requested.

Where did you buy the Nikon in the end and was there a further customs charge? B&H seemed to be charging 100 to post to the UK.

Purchased from bhphoto.com. Including the glass negative carrier, shipping, taxes etc. the total came to around 1500. i.e. saving around 800-900 on the UK price. The shipping price seems reasonable to me, bhphoto packed well and the box is fairly big.
