These glass holders come in two types, "G" and "GR" which rotates a small amount. Only the "G" version seems to be readily available as new old stock. Is the "GR" version valuable enough in use to continue the wait/hunt for it or should I buy a "G"?

Thanks,

Tim

IIRC, the rotating carrier allows scanning of 1 frame.
I have the non-rotating and can scan three 6x6 or two 6x9 frames at a time.

Unless you have real issues with your horizons, I'd suggest you save your money and get the non-rotating variety.

I use the G version as well. I scan 4 645 frames at a time, very convenient. Never feel that I need the GR version.
