Nikon 55mm f/2.8 Micro repair

I've come into possession of a very old 55mm f/2.8 Micro AI-S that seems to have sticky aperture blades. I plan to remove the front elements and give the blades a good cleaning, but want to make sure there are no peculiar things to look out for.
