Lens is in very good condition, glass is clean and clear with no marks or scratches whatsoever. Some light marks in the paint on the barrel from normal use. Focus is smooth and accurate, aperture snaps nicely with no oil on the blades. The tab on the rear has been filed down 1mm to allow use on newer digital cameras (it's been tested on a 5D).

$400

If you've got a canon this will fit with a 15$ adapter. Some even have the focus confirm chip built in which would be handy for a fast lens. Or you could buy an el cheapo body

so, you haven't tested it on a NIKON?

How did you jam it on the CANON?

The lens works fine on a Nikon and has been tested on a F3. The tab was included on the lens to engage the matrix metering on the Nikon FA and F4 bodies (it will still work for that as it's only shaved down 1mm) but otherwise it's just there to hold the protruding rear element off a table if you set the lens down. I have an adapter which will mount any Nikon lens to a Canon body. Dead Link Removed

I've got one! it's lovely

I think you're barmy trying to sell it!!
