I have Nikkor-S 50mm f1.4, I have also Nikkor-H 50mm f2, but until today I never heard that there is Nikkor-S 50mm f2.
Anybody tried this one, the same, better or worse than the two that I mentioned above?

The lens came in 9 or 6 blade versions. I only have the H variants, though people speak highly of the S, which I think is earlier.

Somewhat rare, it has seven elements in five groups, ca. 1959~1963. The one that I have performs about the same overall as the later -H (n=5). In actual use, I personally prefer the later K or AI version of the 50mm f/2 nikkor.

This was basically the first lens for the original F, right? I have the 5.8cm ƒ1.4 which was the first ƒ1.4 before the 50mm ƒ1.4 came out. Both the 5cm and the 5.8cm are fairly uncommon lenses because they had pretty short runs.
