Hello guys, I recently bought a Nikkor 105mm f/2.5 AI in a flea market for 10 euros (something like 11 dollars). All the lenses are in mint condition but when i bought it i was told that it had to be checked. I noticed that the aperture level does not close the diaphragm blades so i guess the lubricant got them stuck in TA position.

Do you have any other hints on how solve this problem?
Any idea how much i'll have to spend to make it solve by a pro?

Thanks for the attention.

Someone will have to dissasemble the lens and completely clean the blades. I would expect it to cost $75 at least. Diy would be possible if you have the tools and don't mind if you ruin it, which is always a risk.

Thank you, I contacted in the afternoon a specialist here in Rome and told me it would cost me around 40-50 euros including the lubrication and the cleaning of the inner groups of lenses. I guess I'll give it to them in september.

60 euro (after the repair) seems like a reasonable price for that lens, assuming the glass is in good shape, congratulations.
