I had a great surprise when I was on vacation this last week.
My friend's inlaws asked me to look at a camera owned by their late father and see if I thought it would be worth any money.
They set a suitcase-size box on the table and inside was a Zeiss Contarex. Two, actually. One of each body.
Complete with every lens made for it down to the 15mm. All in impeccable condition. No fungus, no stuck shutter, no oily blades. He even had things like the bellows, right angle viewer, the shoe finders for all the wide lenses, etc etc.
I'm no camera dealer but according to Ebay it'll pay for the granddaughters first semester at NYU. Hopefully B&H will do right by them.
