Selling this very nice Leica M3 single stroke camera body. The shutter speeds all seem accurate, the viewfinder is clean and clear, the frame lines are nice, bright and clear, the rangefinder is accurate and contrasty. Winder is working nicely. The curtains are nice looking and free from dryness or light leaks. I just put a new leatherette cover on this. The body has no significant dings or dents or scratches. There are some bright marks in areas, see pictures, the pics really make the bright marks stand out, they are not as obvious as it looks but it's good to have a good view of them for the buyer. I don't think it will need a CLA in the near future but it has not had one in years as far as I know, it operates properly at present but is priced so that the next owner could get a fresh CLA and still have a good value. It will come with the Voigtlander labeled body cap shown. Free shipping in the USA, I prefer F&F payment. $1280.00 shipped in the USA.

Hi, sorry I forgot to put the price on the ad. And while I do prefer F&F payments, it's not a deal breaker and I would just ask that the buyer add the 3% fee to the price if using regular paypal. I can say though that I've never been much of a scammer, and never refused a return/refund for any reason, regardless of whether using either method of payment. I live an ethical life...

Friends and family are for, well, friends and family. It's rude, IMHO, to try and sell something using F&F unless you know each other.

Using PayPal and a credit card the buyer is protected. Selling things over the internet is fraught with peril as well. There's a good chance you'll get a lunatic for a buyer.

I use Ebay to buy things, once I had to involve PayPal.

A few years ago I bought a item on large format photography forum, the fellow wanted F&F, I paid him as purchasing goods and services. Good thing as he turned out to be a long-time member who went bad. He sold the stuff he sold online to his local camera shop. A lot of people lost their money.

I understand that people want the protection of regular paypal but for several reasons "I prefer" to use the other method. By the way Matt, I also consider getting an item to a buyer my responsibility so I've done refunds in the past for things that have either been damaged in transit or not even delivered. Apologies for how my response was worded, I didn't mean to imply you were a scammer, just that F&F makes it much easier for people to scam with no recourse for the buyer. GLWS!
