Next newbie LFquestion...Fujinon-SW 105

I have found an older, yet modern Fujinon SW-105mm mounted in a Seiko for sale at $ 385 in exc cond....... I am looking for something to cover 6x17 with movements ( yes, I know this lens is used on the Fuji 617 camera )...thoughts on this lens ? thanks Dan

I use the fugi 90 f/8 on 6 x 17...just completed some new camera tests using this little lens and it covers fine I would think yours would also.

I have a Fuji 617 with the multicoated lens, it needs to be stopped down to at least 22 to get the edges sharp. Anything wider and it isn't great which always makes me wonder how guys shoot these cameras handheld. The older single coated versions generally have more cover but don't know how they compare for sharpness.

The Fuji SW 105 f8 has an image circle of 250mm at f22. Fuji lists it as a 5x7 lens. It should have plenty of coverage for 6x17.
