I'll provide a sample if you get the electron microscope.

haha reminds me of that artist that actually made images using his/her mouth by placing film inside, but not swallowing! Cant remember the name though...

Agree, another load of bullstuff sold as an art "project". A lesson on how to be an idiot and sell your idiocy to other idiots. The electronic microscope only detects the abrasion on the film surface, there obviously is no photographic image whatsoever to be seen. The sensitive material was probably "digested" or scraped away anyway so what they are left is the support, which they fixed.

The only thing that can be said, considering the final "outcome", is that it is proper shit.

PS Don't buy second-hand tanks from those guys. They might even really have swallowed it.

What the hell.
Those images are only the film structure. You could get pics like those by electron-microscoping a raw piece of Tri-X!! (or whatever they used)
Their bodies only degraded it slightly.
Anyway, who would be so sad to do that.

Had they done this with color film and developed it, maybe (just maybe... I mean a really outside chance here...) there would have been some kind of interesting light patterns from when the film passed through their duodenum while sunbathing ...

BUT!, as is painfully obvious, electron micrographs of the film don't tell us anything.

Art is supposed to be about thinking, and this seems to rely on people not thinking, not understanding fully what's going on.

Come on! Art like this gets more film "consumed". That's good for Kodak now, isn't it?

Is this a case in linguistics where "OO" becomes "I"? Just happened to think of this in my spare time! :D

I do believe you're right on that, PE. Except maybe after the aforementioned Ex-Lax...

In the end, I would rather they had been deterred.

It does give a new meaning to "waiting to see how your pictures come out".

IMO, they wrecked 'em.

I would think that the chemicals on film would have some level of toxicity to it. It really should not be eaten.

IMHO, they are more in danger from the sharp edges of the cut film than the chemicals!

PE

Yeah, I have trouble believing a full-frame piece of 135 film went through their (or anyone's) alimentary tract. Passing it must have been an adventure...
