Dear fellow Photrio forum members,
I'm very pleased to announce two new products. They are a result of long term testing, improvements and refinements of the previous designs.
Most importantly the same lenses can be used on your Large Format camera with corresponding adapter as well as on 6x17 and this newly announced Sinar P&S conversion.
We will be at the Camerama Camera Show in Toronto on 9th of February with these new products for members who would like to see them in person.

Reveni Labs will be next to us with their products and will bring their light meters and camera tester for demo.
Reveni Labs products can be checked out at https://www.reveni-labs.com/
New Kickstarter campaign Lumo meter will be demoed as well.
As it can be seen on the pictures, Mk.2 light meter is a perfect match for 617 and 4x5 cameras bellow.
617 Panoramic P&S Camera
6x17 camera is an improvement both functionally and esthetically to previous models.
Just like before, the camera body is based around film flatness. It has separate cones that can be matched to the lens as required.
Design was made to be exceptionably simple and affordable while enabling film flatness and tolerances of similar commercially available cameras.
They're 3d printed from ABS Glass Fiber as it's extremely stable material with superior vibration resistance of composite materials. Also one of the esthetically most pleasing materials.
Another benefit of the design is that it was made to be scalable to 6x6, 6x9 and 6x12 sizes. At the show there will be some cameras displayed in these formats.
Film can be rewound back if the film wasn't wound to the last shot on 6x17 and lens can be moved to the 4x5 P&S or to LF camera.
3 cold shoes mounted on top of the camera. They can be easily replaced or exchanged for other customized accessory.
Both film spools are supported on both ends making sure that film tracks properly across the path. Resulting parallelism of the whole system (body, cone, helicoid and lens board) is within plus minus 0.07mm (3 thousands of an inch) in uncalibrated state. This is already surpassing ANSI standard for film holder flatness on similar formats. This value can be further calibrated to even tighter specification if requested.
For comparison, Hasselblad medium format cameras on much smaller format have plus minus 0.03mm on body, back and even more range on the focusing screen.
For this camera at it's optimal shooting apertures of f22 and f16, these specifications exceed the requirements by a high margin. Larger apertures will also easily meet specifications for film flatness.
Pinhole adapter available - Coming shortly: ground glass attachment. Simple 3d printed viewfinder included (not pictured).
Camera is listed here: https://customcamerabuilding.com/products/ccb-617-panoramic-camera?_pos=1&_psq=617&_ss=e&_v=1.0
