I am casually testing a shoe-mount Prazisa rangefinder unit I just got.
It seems to read a house roof peak 220 ft/70m away correctly when dial is set infinity, but reading of spouse's ear, across dining room table, seems off by 3/4ft/20cm.
Should my choice of infinity be farther away?
Am I expecting too much with the close face reading above?
How is my own visual acuity affecting the readings?
EDIT to add: The distance dial goes a wee bit past the "infinity" tick mark, so I should maybe retest paying more attention to that. likewise, in broad daylight, I just noticed a slight vertical misalignment.
