Not sure where on the site to post this, but myself and fellow APUG member Ron LarFor4X5 have recently started a new podcast on Film Photography called Film Photography Forecast.

http://filmphotographyforecast.wordpress.com/

We have just posted our second episode, where our guest is David William White (also an APUG member) who talks with us about the paper negative process.

If you have a topic idea for the show, or would like to be a guest, please let either Ron or myself know!

Will this be made available on iTunes? If so, I will subscribe.

On a mac, couldn't get any of it to work, the first link does not seem to be there and the second loads but does not play.
Get it on iTunes!

If you search for it on Itunes as Film Photography Forecast you will find it.

Very interesting... This definitely has some things I've wanted to know, particularly about cotrolling contrast and spectral sensitivity with paper negatives. Thanks for sharing.

BTW, I downloaded it to my (ancient) iPod, where it does not show up as a podcast, but as a music track. I will have to look into that, but I can at least listen to it in the car this afternoon while between cities.

Cheers,

This podcast thing is a great idea, and this one was fun to do. I'm sure everyone here has something interesting they could be interviewed about...so jump in, folks!

I haven't listened yet but I'm really looking forward to it. Any podcast dedicated to film is a good deal for film. I'll be tweeting and posting everywhere I can to promote it. Thanks for stepping out. I listen to a lot of photography podcasts and I hunt for any with analog topics.
Podcasting takes a huge committment but I'm sure you will be very successful. There is definitely a demand for analog photography information.

I listened. Fantastic! Great information. Straightforward program. Not a long drawn out conversation. Just a simple interview with great questions and terrific answers to an artform that is practiced by so few. Thanks so much for putting this out there. I'm already anticipating the next podcast.

I'll listen in tonight. And, hey, anytime y'all wanna talk to a redneck...

This makes 4 film photography podcasts that I am aware of, so evidently there is a lot of interest in film photography.

Listening right now as well. Nice to hear everyone's voices. Yours too, David.

Do tell... I'd love to know what these are. (if Ron and John don't mind some competition on this thread)

Just finished. Nice length. Great give and take. Definitely let us know when new podcasts come out here on APUG so those who have not subscribed to the feed can be let in on the goodness. John and Ron! Ron and John! Yeah!

I enjoyed the podcast very much - informative and pitched at a good level for both beginners and experienced.

Nice one guys - let us know when the next one's up.

Tony
