The New York Times today has a positive review of the new film “Mr. Jones”, based on a real journalist who traveled to the Soviet Union in the early 1930’s to report on a massive famine hitting Ukraine. Per the trailer and the NYT review, Mr. Jones uses an LTM Leica to capture images of the ravages he witnessed. I can’t determine which lens he has. Looks like an interesting historical film, one that I’d be interested to see, Leica or no Leica.

I'll keep an I open for this movie, I like this type of film. At least, if they have the gratuitous car chase the old cars will be more interesting.
