The Instax just has more going for it. I'm really tired of buying Polaroid film for the SX-70 for example, and having maybe a third of the shots turning out exposed correctly, and without those pesky opacification failure streaks!

I personally prefer Polaroid film vastly for most applications, let alone for their cameras. But, I could see why someone would like Fuji better - and that’s fine. It’s like 60s muscle cars versus 90s performance JDM cars. Different audiences within the sphere of niche cars.

That being said - if you’re not using one of the roll-up film shields (available on the Polaroid website), you should get one. It will stop Opacifier failure, and you’ll get richer color. The difference is quite drastic
