Hi, my name is David, behind Cold Water Wimp. Yep, do not like cold water. I play with 35mm and 120 primarily. Also, pinhole using 120 film, and very little 4x5. Developing and printing myself. Have started (a few years ago) to develop color positive film (Fujifilm provia). Also playing with albumin prints (using 4x5 negatives and digital negatives). Boy, do I need practice and help. I have tried a couple different toning recipes. None appear to affect the tone at all of my orange looking prints. Is it ph of water? How to test? How to adjust? Can anyone lead me to a helpful tread?

Welcome to Photrio! I can't help you with albumin printing, as my area is carbon transfer, as well as the Kallitype, and the odd tri-colour gum. Heaps of very helpful people here! Cheers!

very cool. just looked at the carbon transfer video. looks quite complicated relative to what I work at. looked at your flickr site too.

Welcome to APUG Photrio!!!

do like the Hasselblad. I "play" with the el/m and sometimes a 500 C.

So even though you kept it hidden, you are one of the wise people that use Hasselblads. Do not let that get out, since if it became know how good Hasselblads are, the cost would go up.

Ha Ha. Have visited southern CA. and did manage to endure the cold, sans wetsuit too. Not sure I would in northern CA.
