I've never posted to this sub-forum before, but thought some might be intrigued by this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...Retail&utm_term=InstantFlex-TL70-Instant-Film

cute concept, interesting camera and I hope they do well. Kind of reminds me of the Rollei-like mini-digital camera the Sharon folks came out with a few years back.

I visited the Photographer's gallery in London last week to see the Saul Lieter exhibition (excellent, by the way) and they had one of these in the shop downstairs. I did a double-take, as I thought they had a Rollei for sale. Sort of reminded me of an FX, with it's modern lines. I got my Rolleicord out and held it up to the glass cabinet to compare, and received some funny looks from the staff.

I seem to recall watching a review of this on YouTube a while back. The guy said that he had one, maybe two that were defective, but the guys making them were excellent and sent him a new one almost immediately. Nice to know at least one Kickstarter project is delivering the goods and providing good customer service.

Interesting camera but considering its price tag, I think there are better Instax options out there or get a real modern TLR like the Lubitel 166+.

Matt, this camera was announced a year ago, although I think it took more that a few months to ship them out: (there was a url link here which no longer exists) YouTube review: click

The size given in the spec is the film size.

Image size = 46 x 62mm (1.8" x 2.4").

For comparison, the image size of FP-3000B or FP-100C is 73 x 95mm (2.9 x 3.75), which is very similar to Polaroid Spectra.

If Fuji were to make a semi-serious instant camera (that is, having some exposure and focus controls) and choose the Instax Wide film (image size 62x99mm - 2.4"x3.9"), they'd sell every camera and the film would be in high demand.

Yes but Fujifilm won't do that.
