Looks like we are getting more higher quality options für using Instax instant film.
NONS will introduce a back for 6x6 instax square film for the Hasselblad 500, 501 and 503 series cameras:

I too would prefer the vertical orientation, but I'm still giving some serious thought to this.

I prefer the square format. After all Hasselblad advertised for years that "Square is the perfect format." Anything less and I would walk away from it.

I think you may have a misplaced decimal point:

...from $799.99

But that's different from the NONS instant back referenced in the OP's post. That one goes for $279.

It was only a factor of ten. Why would that bother friends?

Very good news for the Hasselblad users.
Hopefully they have success with it on the market, and then go further also offering a back for the Mamiya 645 models......for me 😍😉.

Best regards,
Henning

I'd just like to see the cost of these backs on a close par with the basic Instax cameras but not so expensive as to base it's price on the Hasselblad name, but enough to keep the maker happly in the black.

I now I'm complaining about cost again, but the Hasselblad V series, cameras, lenses, etc is such an excellent film (mainly) camera system, it really needs to be treated as a valid and valued Camera every bit as much as when it was at it's apex of popularity among professional photographers, just with more realistic pricing because it is still used gear.

I talked to the NONS guys. Unfortunately it doesn't work with the 200 series due to difference of the "protrusions" on the left side.

Ah well

I have just received, taken 4 pictures. Cut the heck out of my fingers on the darkslide. Seems to work well on 500 series (503cw)
