Hello everyone!

I haven't been on a forum in a while but after coming across this one tonight I thought I would join. I've only been shooting analog for the last three years but have into photography a little longer. It was a little scary quitting digital all together but I have been loving it, mostly! I'm self taught which really means I've muddled through. I want to improve all the time though.

I have a little collection of 5 Zenit's although they are now not all in completely working condition. I also like to collect other cameras and have some polaroids but I haven't shot with them in a long time.

I am quite shy but I will try and get involved as much as possible!

Welcome, if you ever need any help I'm just across the border in North Worcestershire :D

I have a small collection of Russian rangefinder cameras, and started with a Zenit E.

Wow thank you for all the warm welcomes  I'm sure I'll be happy here!

My first Zenit was an E. Since then I've added a Zenit B, Zenit 11, Zenit 12xp and another E though it's an Olympic Edition! I've often thought about getting something smaller one of the Smena's for instance. It would be nice to have something lighter for trips out!

He he yeap! I'm a Smiths fans!

Congrats on making the step to sign up and to say hallo.

Hallo back to you!

This is a great place to be - either to sit back, look, listen and learn or to engage with the forums. I know from experience that whatever one asks, there will be at least one answer forthcoming and "the learned" folks here do try to help those willing to learn.

Enjoy your stay!

Sim2.

Welcome from the southern part of over here! lol Remember, if you want to share digital stuff, there's also dpug so there's still a place to share files you don't want to ignore. No need to be shy, either. We will pounce on and pummel everyone equally! (KIDDING!!!!)

don't be

We could use a few shy people here. And I include myself in those folks who might be a bit over the top from time to time. We can be "true believers" but we pretty much agree that film is the real deal.

I'll be having some open sessions at my new darkroom in a few weeks, I hope to start working on it next week as it's a bare shell at the moment although electrics are fitted (by previous owner). I'll be posting the dates here on APUG so maybe you (and any others here) would like to meet up then. If the weathers good we could have an adhoc barbeque and print sharing (discussion) session. The Severn Valley Railway is just down the road (5 mins walk) and a possible place to visit/photograph.

Super could make most weekends, forgot about SVR, was at Winchcoombe last week.
We could even speak about E-76...
