New guy on the block

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member and i look forward to being a part of the community. I have alot to learn still having only shot 4 rolls of film in my life, but looking forward to see what this hobby brings. At the very least, i get to manipulate light so thats neat.

Normally, im not a fan of forums as the gatekeeping is insane and ime, not welcoming to new comers. I joined, as i am trying to find some info to make sure i understand my camera correctly (kodak retina 11, i believe the type 014?). but hey, everyone deserves a chance right?

Anyway, looking forward to being a member here.

If there are any particular hurdles or hoops you had to jump through, please let us know. Maybe it's possible to improve some of these matters.
Like all forums, we do have to work to keep spammers and scammers out of the door, which explains why we have some measures in place that may sometimes form an impediment. However, we try to keep the impact of these on benevolent participants minimal!
