New guy in Austin, Texas

Greetings,

I subscribed here a couple of months ago, and have lurked for some time before that, so I guess it's about time for an introduction!

I've been shooting film, with various on/off periods, for at least 25 years. These days I primarily use MF (RB67), almost exclusively BW. Also some 35mm, until two weeks ago when my much loved little Minilux finally bit the dust (the dreaded shutter failure, apparently common for that camera).

I process all of my BW films but, alas, have no darkroom at the moment. That may change soon, however. I'll soon be sharing a house with a friend, and I've learned that he has a perfectly good darkroom sink, inherited from someone, just sitting idle in the garage! Not idle for long, I say...
