I'm hoping Acros comes back with good reciprocity, contrast and clear film base. Bought 25 rolls of 120 and 40 sheets of 4x5 in a panic when the news hit. I'd love to share the differences between the two if Fuji stays true to their word.
The film emulation on the Fuji digital cameras only makes sense to the hipsters if they know the film. I wouldn't be surprised if Fuji brings a 400 speed black and white back. Prepare for sticker shock, now that they've scared the crap out of the consumer, people will be standing in line with 100,000 ¥ bills in their hands.I'm hoping Acros comes back with good reciprocity, contrast and clear film base. When Frank Sinatra posts a thread on Photrio that starts: "Have you heard it's in the stars, next July we collide with Mars" we can either ask for his source for this information or we can continue the conversation with talk of aliens and what was found at Roswell.

If Frank Sinatra posts a thread on Photrio, I'm just going to want to know how he came back from the dead!![]()
I hope Acros-II 120 will be on the shelves when I'm over there in March. It would be nice to compare the old with the new...
I imagine it will be. I've been on the lookout, both online and in shops since I returned to Japan a couple weeks ago. In all likelihood though, it will be reported as soon as it appears on shelves.
I'm interested in comparing the two myself, but since I bought nearly 300 rolls when Acros was discontinued, I have quite a bit of stock to go through before I can justify buying any more. The good thing though is that I don't have to worry about running out of film anytime soon!
